New Shit Has Come To Light
It has come to my attention recently that one loves not with the brain, not with logic, not with intellect, but with the heart.
Dammitall.
(...Yeah well, that's just, ya know...like, your opinion, man...)
Kids knees are usually all scraped raw as often are our hearts as adults. Reminds me of this poem by Robert Frost: A voice said, Look me in the stars And tell me truly, men of earth, If all the soul-and-body scars Were not too much to pay for birth.

Aw shit! Now you tell me... I've been loving wholeheartedly with my kidneys and wondering why I was stuck with the feeling I was pissing my life away.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous: Ya, crazy the shit you learn everyday. Feeling the love..all the way frum yer kidknees.

Thanks for the Frost. Am still struggling to understand if you my post irritated you or not. Either way, if it means more poetry for me, I'm glad. :)
ReplyDeleteI am not irritated in the least, I liked your post. If you like poetry here is some more by Emily Dickinson:
ReplyDeleteI'm nobody! Who are you?
Are you nobody, too?
Then there's a pair of us — don't tell!
They'd banish us, you know.
How dreary to be somebody!
How public, like a frog
To tell your name the livelong day
To an admiring bog!
:) That's very lovely. Thank you.
